Survivor Safe Sex Ed: Facilitating Quality Health Education that Prevents Sexual Violence and Supports Survivors

This webinar explores the intersections of sexual violence prevention and sex education. Participants will discuss what it means to be trauma-informed, examine the impact of sexual violence on young people, and identify how these experiences may manifest in group settings. Attendees will gain practical skills for delivering sexual and reproductive health education that is sensitive to the experiences of survivors. The webinar includes strategies for inclusive facilitation and guidance for integrating prevention into sexual health education. By the end of the webinar, participants will leave with actionable tools and resources to enhance their work with youth, young adults, and families, creating safer, more supportive environments for all learners.
