$7,000 in Awards for Public Health—Deadline June 30!

Opportunities available:
Student Fellowship in Patient Engagement: For master’s or doctoral students advancing patient-centered health care research. Benefits include a $2,000 stipend, complimentary registration at SOPHE’s Annual Conference, a one-year SOPHE membership, and an opportunity to present your project at a national SOPHE conference.
R. Brick Lancaster Community Health Internship: Supports a student during a community-based health education internship addressing a pressing public or school health issue. Includes a $2,000 stipend, a one-year SOPHE membership, and the opportunity to present your project results at a future SOPHE Annual Conference or Advocacy Summit.
21st Century Student Scholarship: Provides up to $1,500 to cover travel expenses for SOPHE’s Advocacy Summit. Recipients receive free event registration and a chance to serve for one year on a SOPHE committee or task force – a great way to build your network and leadership skills. (Active SOPHE national or chapter membership is required for eligibility.)
21st Century Health Education Practice Scholarship: Provides up to $1,500 in financial support to SOPHE members (national/chapter) who are health education specialists and practitioners to attend SOPHE’s Advocacy Summit in the fall.
