ASPPH Call For Abstracts for Annual Meeting -March 23-25 2021
The ASPPH Annual Meeting provides a virtual forum for our academic public health community- leaders, faculty, staff, students, and partners- to
convene and engage in discussions around the most pressing public health challenges threatening our local and global communities. ASPPH is
committed to presenting timely, relevant sessions and information around these critical public health issues. It is crucial that as a public
health community we continue to facilitate important discussions and that we remain dedicated to strengthening our community now and beyond
these challenging times. The Annual Meeting encourages opportunities for social connections that advance our shared mission. We are all the
            voice of academic public health.
Planning for the Annual Meeting is underway. The planning committee,
co-chaired by James Mancuso, chair, department of preventive medicine and biostatistics, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences
Public Health Program, and Edith Parker, dean, University of Iowa College of Public Health, is working to design an outstanding program with
an inspirational slate of speakers to address a range of public health challenges, examine issues related to academic public health, explore
structural and systematic racism in academic public health and society, and provide a space for dialogue. In addition, ASPPH is hosting a call
for abstracts on topics related to student and career services, development and alumni relations, and marketing and communications.
