FYI from Community Partner: In anticipation of the community impacts of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Santa Clara County, Destination: Home took action to dedicate additional resources to the Homelessness Prevention System to prevent homelessness for impacted low-income households. Starting immediately, we are creating an eligibility exception to allow low-income households whose housing stability is impacted by the coronavirus to enroll in HPS. This does not really mean anything different for your families when it comes to the referral process. Essentially, if you have ANY households (families or individuals) contact you because they need housing financial assistance, please refer them to HPS.
