As faculty across the country have transitioned to online/distance classes, adapting course content to
a new engaging format for students can be challenging. In this workshop, sponsored by the Association
of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and Alzheimer’s Association, speakers will review
the topics and activities in a free, flexible curriculum to introduce Alzheimer’s to undergraduate
and graduate students in schools of public health and related disciplines. Presenters from Emory University
Rollins School of Public Health will offer creative ways to integrate and utilize the curriculum in
online/distance classes will be covered. Attendees will be placed in small groups to learn from colleagues
how they have used or plan to use the curriculum in classes. After the webinar, Emory and the Alzheimer’s
Association will update one of the curriculum resources with the ideas generated during this virtual
workshop.
